I’m now working on the follow up to When Bendigo Black Birds Sing, which is to be titled The Chant of the Big Black Birds of Bendigo, and aiming for completion by the end of 2018.
Expect to see more interaction between the people of Bendigo and the Big Black Birds. Here’s a sample page, work in progress.
This will be the fourth instalment of the Bendigo Pub Project of Oscar Lago
The next installment in The Bendigo Pub Project of Oscar Lago is in the final stages of production, due for release in July 2017, titled ‘When Bendigo Blackbirds Sing’. Expect to find within more news of the revival of The Whipstick Sound, and, if the title hasn’t given it away, more about those big black birds.
Over the last few months I’ve been working on some illustrations for Bendigo band Fountaineer, which have been incorporated into the artwork for their single covers.
Here’s ‘The Cricketers’. Go to wearefountaineer.com to hear the music and other news from the band.
The True History of The Whipstick Sound is in the final stages of production.
TTHOTWS will be released on March 13 at the Bendigo Record, Comic and Toy Fair ( https://www.facebook.com/BendigoRCandTFair/)
It will be available from Sticky Institute (http://www.stickyinstitute.com/) shortly after that.
